PREP & CARE INFO.
Shower, exfoliate, and remove body hair before your tanning session. Do NOT use a moisturizing soap or body wash (especially Dove) before you tan. Use a gel body wash that is paraben, sulfate, & alcohol free (Perfect Glow Body Wash) with either nylon exfoliating gloves or a washcloth. Make sure you scrub your entire body well. Please use caution when using loofas, as they make you streaky.
Shave at least 6 hours before your appointment. If you tan right after shaving, your pores are wide open and you may get little dots on your legs!
Be sure to wash off any hair conditioner residue from your body with soap.
If your appointment is later in the day, you may need to shower before coming to remove any sweat and oils from the day.
Skin should be clean and dry before being sprayed. Don’t apply moisturizers, oils, or makeup before your tanning appointment. They can effect tan development. (A little anti-perspirant is fine, though)
Wear dark, loose, easily cleaned clothing to appointment. Wear loose shoes. Bring an old swimsuit or undergarment to tan in. (wool, lycra, nylon, spandex, silk, rayon, and leather can all stain) We have disposable panties, or you may tan topless or nude if you prefer.
Mani/pedi, facials, and massages should all be done 24 hours before getting your spray tan
Style hair in a hairclip or ponytail so it will be off of face and neck.
You will not be able to get wet or sweaty for at least 6 to 8 hours – so please plan accordingly.
Bring a towel to cover leather or light colored seats.
If it is raining or snowing, bring an umbrella and/or hoodie. If you get rained or snowed on, you will streak or spot!
Wear loose fitting clothing for 6 to 8 hours, while tan develops.
Do not get wet or sweat while your tan is developing. It's important NOT to wash your hands!
Don’t exercise, sweat, swim, or bathe for 6 to 8 hours.
Shower 8 -12 hours after with a warm water rinse (no soaps or shampoos) until the water runs clear. This is the guide bronzer showering off. Do not worry!, Your tan will continue to develop. Wash with a mild shower gel or soap, preferably moisturizing (Perfect Glow Body Wash). Use a mesh shower poof or washcloth (gently). Do NOT use Dove soap or moisturizers! They have enzymes in them that will remove your tan.
If using a rapid solution, you can shower in 2-4 hours depending on the level of darkness that is desired. Again, it still takes 12 hours for the tan to fully develop. Please wait 24 hours to apply makeup and lotions. Wash with a mild shower gel or soap, preferably moisturizing. (Perfect Glow Body Wash) Use a mesh shower poof or washcloth (gently). Do NOT use Dove soap or moisturizers! They have enzymes in them that will remove your tan.
Color wash off in the shower is normal: this is only the color guide tint. (bronzer) Your tan will continue to develop over the next 12 to 24 hours.
Pat (don’t rub) skin dry.
Apply a moisturizer or body butter to shower damp skin. If you like, you can use a tan extender lotion (Perfect Glow Tan Extender Lotion is available at the studio); scrub palms after use with bar soap and a nailbrush so that they don't discolor. Moisturize again before bed with a moisturizer of your choice. (NOT Curel or Dove – these can ruin tans!)
Apply moisturizer twice a day (after showering and before bed) and if you choose, apply an extender once a day or every other day.
The average tan lasts 5-9 days. This is very dependent on proper aftercare
Avoid exfoliating skin. Some products can cause faster fading – bar soaps, alcohol based products such as toners and astringents, products that cause exfoliation such as AHAs, BHAs, Retin-A, etc. (anti-aging, anti-acne, regenerating, renewing) Make sure that you shave with a sharp razor to avoid exfoliating skin.
Hot tubs, swimming pools, and even extended time in the ocean will take off your
Body wash, body lotion & tan extender can be purchased to extend the life of your tan at the studio!

Anal bleaching is one of the most popular skin care request today. Be careful not to use products with harsh acids that can cause long term damage to your skin. Our intimate area skin lightening products are all safe and FDA & Health Canada approved. Remember that harsh chemicals such as Hydroquinone or Kojic Acid that can burn, irritate and even hypo-lightening the skin which is not reversable or repairable.
It is actually very common for our “sensitive areas” such as the bikini line, vaginal, underarms and anal area to discolor in both men and women. Most people find it hard to discuss this topIC! We have zero issue talking about this topic, in fact its as natural as talking about the weather. The most common reasons for skin discoloration tend to be hormonal that may arise after pregnancy, aging, ethnicity or weight gain.
Most of our clients are average everyday Corporate America workers both male and female that are looking to enhance the appearance of their bodies and even our discolored skin tone anywhere from inner thighs to the UNDERARM. We offer this treatment which can be done in the comfort of your own home or in our establishment without the use of harsh chemicals.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: WHAT CAUSES DISCOLORATION OF THE SENSITIVE AREAS? AM I WEIRD OR ABNORMAL?
A: Of course the answer is NO! You’re not weird or abnormal. Discoloration of the anal area is quite common. There are many reasons why this occurs. However, dark discoloration of the anus tends to be a result of hormonal changes that may arise after pregnancy or simply with aging. Removing the hair in these areas makes it more noticeable. The treatment is popular with both men and women.
Q: HOW DOES IT WORK?
A: To achieve lasting lightening, you cannot just whiten or “bleach” the top layer of skin as it will eventually slough off and expose the layers of darker skin below. To solve this problem, the formula uses a combination of methods to produce the most effective long-term results. Here is how… First, we gently exfoliate the skin to prepare it. We then deliver a blend of natural skin de-pigmentation and whitening agents deep into the layers of the skin. These gently lighten the skin on top and reduce the activity of Tyrosinase (the enzyme responsible for skin darkening) in the lower layers of the skin. Our products does not contain any harsh chemicals that can cause irritation or harmful side effects unlike Kojic Acid or Hydroquinone found in other skin lighteners. Lastly, soothing agents provide a gentle moisturizing treatment to protect. As newer skin comes to the surface, you will see a lighter skin tone that will blend with your natural skin tone. Continued use maintains the desired look. By working in combination with gentle exfoliating, pigment inhibiting and skin whitening, our formula produces excellent results in most users of all skin type
Q: HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR BEST RESULTS?
A: With proper use, most people will see results in 3-5 treatments. However, each individual is different and the length of time for results will vary.
Q: IS IT SAFE TO WAX BEFORE OR AFTER SKIN LIGHTENING SERVICES?
A: Our products are safe to use before or after waxing. However, many other commercially available skin lightening products are not suitable for use in sensitive areas, especially after hair removal. Most skin lightening products contain harsh chemicals such as hydroquinone or kojic acid and only bleach the top layer of skin
CAUTION: For external use only. Not intended for pregnant or breast feeding women. People with extremely sensitive skin should patch test before using. Keep out of reach of children.
